All outside Gallbladder Referrals and patients
who present to Chandler ED will be considered for transfer to Good Samaritan· Blue Surgery Chief will take the outside call and will notify Good Sam of the transfer.
· Blue Surgery Chief will make determination if Chandler ED patient is appropriate for transfer and will notify Capacity Command and Good Samaritan MD
· Starting Friday at noon through Sunday at 5:00pm patients will be accepted to Chandler only
· Any patient that is pregnant or is exhibiting signs of SIRS will be accepted to Chandler
· SIRS is defined by having 2 or more of the following
o
Temp >38 C (100.4 F) or <36 C ( 96.8 F)
o
HR >90
o
RR >20 or PaCO2 <32mm HG
o
WBC >12.000/mm3, <4000/mm3 or >10%
