FAST (EFAST)

·      FAST (or EFAST, extended FAST which includes pleural spaces) is to be performed by the resuscitation resident evaluating the patient-EM for Alerts, SGB for Alert Reds.

·      Studies will be ordered by ED patient registration specialist.

·      The physician MUST:

1)  Save images in McKesson (Here is a quick 1 min video of how to save: Saving Images
2)  Document results in SCM (search for "POC US Efast", very easy check boxes).

·      EM residents are an excellent resource for saving images.
